Terms and conditions
Introduction
- These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are entered into between you (“you” or “user”) and Jio Finance Platform and Service Limited (“we” or “us” or “our” or “JFPSL”) for accessing, registration and interacting with our website, mobile application and any other technology platform owned and operated by us (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”). You agree and acknowledge that certain Partner Modules including but not limited to My Money services, are subject to compliance with My Money Supplemental Terms as set out below. Your usage of any features that have a set of Supplemental Terms of use is deemed to be acceptance of the said Supplemental Terms of use.
- Please read these Terms and Privacy Policy carefully before using or registering on the Platform or accessing any material information through the Platform. These Terms and the Privacy Policy together constitute a legal agreement between You and the Platform in connection with Your use of the Platform.
- Our Platform facilitates various Partner Products (defined below) and Partner Services (defined below) of its Partners (defined below) to its Users. The application / request for any Partner Product and / or Partner Service are approved and sanctioned by the respective Partners providing / hosting such Partner Product and / or Partner Service on the Partner Modules within the Platform.
- This Terms is an electronic record published in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as may be amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000 from time to time. This Terms is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
- By continuing to use or access of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms and Privacy Policy, you are advised to not use or access the Platform Services, Partner Products or Partner Services made available through the Platform.
- Your access of the Platform signifies your acceptance of these Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without notice, and your continued access of the Terms after any modifications will constitute your acceptance of such modifications.
Definitions
Capitalised terms not defined in the Terms shall mean as follows:
- “Affiliate(s)” shall mean with respect to JFPSL, any person directly or indirectly controlling, controlled by, or under direct or indirect common control with JFPSL including its holding company, fellow subsidiaries, and associate companies.
- “Agreement” means the Terms and Privacy Policy of JFPSL as amended, novated, supplemented, varied, or replaced from time to time.
- “Applicable Law” includes all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of any federal, state, local, or foreign government, political subdivision, or any regulatory body, or any binding judgment or order of an arbitrator, court, or tribunal of competent jurisdiction.
- “Banking Partner” refers to our Partner entity Jio Payments Bank Limited, which provides banking services and products, unified payments interface (“UPI”) related services, wallet services, bill payment services, or any other such services to Users through their designated Partner Module(s) hosted on the Platform.
- “Content” means all text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork, and computer code collectively.
- “Force Majeure Event” means any event due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of JFPSL, including, without limitation, unavailability of any communication system, breach or virus in the systems, fire, pandemic, flood, explosion, acts of God, civil commotion, riots, insurrection, war and acts of government.
- “Insurance Partner” refers to our Partner entity Jio Insurance Broking Limited, which provides insurance solicitation related services or any other such services to Users through their designated Partner Module(s) hosted on the platform.
- “Lending Partner” refers to our Partner entity Jio Credit Limited (“JCL”) formerly known as Jio Finance Limited, a non-banking finance company, which provides loan facilitation services or any other such services to Users through their designated Partner Module(s) hosted on the platform.
- “JIBL” shall mean Jio Insurance Broking Limited, a direct broker incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, engaged in soliciting insurance products and other specified services outlined in Annexure II.
- “JFPSL” or “we” or “us” or “our” shall mean Jio Finance Platform and Service Limited, a company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 with CIN U64990MH2024PLC430743, having its registered office at 1st Floor, Building 4NA, Maker Maxity, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai – 400 051.
- “Lender” shall mean such Partner entity accepting applications for a loan on its designated Partner Module hosted on the Platform including but not limited to Jio Credit Limited (“JCL”) formerly known as Jio Finance Limited
- “Partner” shall mean such third party regulated/unregulated entities providing its products and services on the Platform as part of its contractual agreements with us.
- “Partner Module” shall mean such third-party links, interfaces, modules, or such other technological platform(s) of the Partners hosted on the Platform which are not controlled, operated, or maintained by us.
- “Partner Products” shall mean such products or offerings of the Partners facilitated on the Platform to Users through the respective Partner Modules. Users can access a list of Partner Products offered by, on or through the Platform or Partner Modules in Annexure I of these Terms.
- “Partner Services” shall mean such services offered by the Partners on the Platform to Users through the respective Partner Modules. Users can access a list of Partner Services offered by, on or through the Platform or Partner Modules in Annexure II.
- “Person” shall mean any natural person, company, corporation, partnership, proprietorship, trust, union, association, government, or any agency thereof or any other entity that may be treated as a person under Applicable Law.
- “Personal Data” shall have the meaning ascribed to the term under the Privacy Policy.
- “Platform” means the website, mobile application and any other technology platform owned and operated by JFPSL under the brand name of or affiliation with JioFinance.
- “Platform Services” means the services offered directly by us (and not our Partners) on the Platform and includes displaying of offers of various financial products and services; hosting of various financial services platforms; push-notifications and in-app notifications; in-app search features; and other technological services. Users can access a list of Platform Services offered by, on or through the Platform in Annexure II.
- “Privacy Policy” refers to the privacy policy of the Platform available here.
- “RBI” shall mean the Reserve Bank of India.
- “Supplemental Terms” shall mean all the additional terms and conditions associated with different Partner Modules as provided under Clause 8 below.
- “User” or “you” shall mean any natural or legal person who accesses or uses the Platform and in the event that a natural person is representing a business entity or a body corporate, reference to such terms shall include a reference to such business entity and / or body corporate as well and other promoters of such business entity and / or body corporate. All references to “you” shall include yourself and any other persons you are authorised to and required to provide consent for.
Representation and Warranties
By accessing, logging in, browsing, or using the Platform, you hereby represent and warrant that:
- You are a resident of India.
- You are over 18 years of age.
- You are duly authorized, either individually or as an authorized signatory of an entity.
- You have the capacity to enter into a legally binding agreement.
- You are not barred or legally prohibited from accessing or using the Platform.
- You acknowledge and agree that we own all legal rights, titles, and interests in and to the Platform, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in the Platform or Platform Services, except the Partner Services / Partner Products. The rights, title, and interests with respect to the Partner Products or Partner Services are vested with the respective Partners providing such Partner Products or Partner Services.
- You understand that you do not have the right to use any of our trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, and domain names. You do not have the right to remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights notices (including trademark and copyright notices), which may be affixed to or contained within the Platform Services. You will not copy or transmit any of the Platform Services.
- You hereby understand and acknowledge that the information requested from you is used for the various purposes as set out in our Privacy Policy as well as compliance with various laws, regulations and guidelines promulgated by the Government of India from time to time.
- You will remain responsible for all actions taken through your system, username, and password.
- The information provided by you is true and complete.
- You shall keep us updated of any change in the information provided on or through the Platform.
Offers
- We and / or our Partners may invite you to participate in any offer from time to time. You agree that participating in such an offer is subject to your agreement to the respective offer terms and conditions, and the terms & conditions of the Partners providing / facilitating such offers. You also understand that the offers might be provided by third parties on the Platform and you may be required to agree to the respective terms & conditions of such third parties to avail such offers. You further agree that offers provided to any user may vary from user to user.
- We and / or our Partners reserve the right to disqualify you from any offer in case you do not meet the eligibility criteria for such an offer or any other reasons thereof including but not limited to misuse of offer, misrepresentation, fraud, or suspicious transactions / activities, including but not limited to directives relating to prevention of money laundering under Applicable Law or at our sole discretion without further notice.
Proprietary Rights
- The software that supports the Platform, as well as other internet-related software necessary for accessing the Platform, are solely our property and / or of our authorised third-party service providers.
- Your permission to access the Platform does not grant you any proprietary or ownership rights in the aforementioned software. You are prohibited from attempting to modify, translate, disassemble, reproduce, decompile, or reverse engineer the software underlying the Platform or creating any derivative products based on the software. You shall be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all telephone, computer hardware and other equipment needed for access to, and use of the Platform and all charges related thereto.
Obligations of the User
- Review of Terms. It is your responsibility to thoroughly review these Terms on a periodic basis.
- Use of information and materials. The Content contained on this Platform (other than Content within Partner Modules) is provided for general information only and should not be used as a basis for making business / commercial decisions. The terms of the Content within Partner Modules shall be governed by the respective terms & conditions of the Partners hosting such Content. You are advised to exercise due caution and / or seek independent financial advice before availing any facility or entering into any financial obligation based on the Content contained on this Platform.
- Availability and eligibility. The information and data contained in this Platform does not constitute financial advice or offer to buy or sell or solicitation of an offer to buy or sell any Partner Products or Partner Services on the Platform or Partner Modules.
Links to Partner Modules
- The Platform contains Partner Modules and other third-party links to external interfaces, webpages or modules controlled or offered by such third parties or Partners.
- We do not control or endorse any Content or terms & conditions of such Partner Modules or third-party platforms. You are advised to access such Partner Modules and third-party links at your own risk, and we shall not be responsible for any Partner Modules’ or third-party platforms’ terms & conditions or their Content, Partner Products, or Partner Services they offer. The Content, accuracy, opinions expressed, and other links provided by Partner Modules and other third‐party sites are not verified, monitored, or endorsed by us in any manner. It is your responsibility to decide whether any Partner Products and Partner Services available on the Partner Module are suitable for your purposes.
- The Platform has been provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Accordingly, we encourage you to read and understand the terms & conditions and privacy policy of the respective Partner Modules and third-party platforms facilitated through our Platform.
Supplemental Terms
Supplemental Terms for My Money (“My Money Supplemental Terms”)
The My Money Supplemental Terms govern the data inputted manually on the My Money module on the Platform. The My Money Supplemental Terms shall be in addition to the terms, privacy policy and any product-specific terms and conditions that may be applicable.
- My Money module on the Platform provides consolidated details regarding your assets and liabilities. To the extent applicable, while some of the information displayed shall be automatically populated based on your usage of other services on the Platform, there might be certain data points which you may have to manually enter on the Platform.
- In the event that you manually input, submit, or otherwise provide any information, you expressly represent, warrant, and undertake that such information is true, accurate, complete, and not misleading in any manner. You acknowledge and agree that we shall rely on the information provided by you for the purpose of calculating your total assets and liabilities and that we shall not be required to independently verify, validate, or authenticate the accuracy or completeness of such manually inputted information.
- You acknowledge and agree that total wealth value displayed is a mere approximation of your assets and liabilities, derived in combination with the information provided by you, and may not constitute an accurate or complete representation of your actual financial position. Accordingly, you expressly agree that you shall not rely upon, disclose, or reference the displayed total wealth for any income tax, banking, regulatory, or other official reporting purposes. You further acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to obtain independent verification of your total wealth from a qualified professional before utilising such information for any official, financial, or legal purpose.
- You expressly acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind that you may incur as a result of, or in connection with, any decisions made by you based on the total wealth calculated or displayed. You further agree that we expressly disclaim any and all liability, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise, arising from your reliance on such calculated total wealth, and you assume full responsibility for any actions taken based thereon.
- You understand and acknowledge that by providing this feature, we do not hold ourselves out to be qualified professionals or provide financial advice of any kind. You agree that the total wealth display is only based on inputs and information made available by you.
Registration
- While registering on our Platform, you agree to provide accurate and comprehensive information about you. It is your responsibility to maintain the accuracy and completeness of your information shared on the Platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and deny access to the Platform (or any part of it) if there is suspicion or evidence of false or incomplete information provided by you.
Content Posted on the Platform
- You are solely responsible for the Content you post / host / submit or display on the Platform. You must ensure that all your Content complies with the Terms and Applicable Laws and does not infringe or violate any person’s legal rights. You retain any and all of your rights to any Content you post / host / submit or display on the Platform, and you are responsible for protecting those rights. JFPSL takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for Content you or any third party (through you) posts on the Platform. We may review, edit, or delete the Content that violates these Terms or is offensive, illegal, or harmful.
- Any Content present in the Partner Module on the Platform shall not be construed to represent that they belong or represent or are endorsed by our views.
- By posting / hosting / submitting or displaying Content on the Platform, you understand that it will become a public disclosure of such Content by you, and you grant JFPSL a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, copy, display, and distribute that Content.
User Conduct
- You acknowledge that all images, information, data, text, software, graphics, video, messages, or other Content, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted by you, are your sole responsibility. This means that you, and not JFPSL, shall bear full responsibility for all Content uploaded or posted by users on the Platform. We do not exercise control over user-generated Content on the Platform and, therefore, cannot guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of such Content.
- Subject to Applicable Laws and our Privacy Policy, in no event shall we be liable in any way for any Content, including but not limited to errors or omissions in any Content, or for any loss or damage of any kind resulting from the use of any user’s Content posted, sent, transmitted, or made available on or through the Platform.
- You agree not to use the Platform to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update, or share information that:
- Belongs to another person without proper authorization.
- Is grossly harmful, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, libelous, threatening, abusive, vulgar, tortious, invasive of another Person’s privacy, hateful, racially, or ethnically objectionable, disparaging, related to money laundering, gambling, or otherwise unlawful.
- Relate to or harms minors in any manner.
- Infringes or violates or misappropriates upon any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets, confidential information, or other proprietary rights.
- Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, public order, or incites the commission of any cognizable offense.
- Impersonates any person or entity, including but not limited to JFPSL, its officials, directors, or employees, or falsely represents your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Forges headers or manipulates identifiers to conceal the origin of Content transmitted through the Platform.
- Uploads, posts, sends, transmits, or otherwise makes available any Content that you do not have the right to share under any law or contractual or fiduciary duty / relationships.
- Distributes unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation.
- Uploads, posts, sends, transmits, or otherwise makes available any material containing software viruses, malware, or any other computer code designed to disrupt or harm computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.
- Interferes with or disrupts the Platform or servers or networks connected to the Platform, or violates any network requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations.
- Edits Content to wrongfully, illegally, or without consent, replace identities of individuals.
- Intentionally or unintentionally violates any Applicable Law.
- Collects or stores Personal Data about other users.
- Uploads, posts, sends, transmits, or otherwise makes available any images or other Content of individuals without their knowledge or consent.
- Engages in any reproduction, duplication, copying, selling, trading, reselling, or exploitation of any portion of the Platform, use of the Platform, or access to the Platform for commercial purposes.
- Except for web browser software and applications formally approved by JFPSL in writing, you agree not to use any software, program, or device to automate access to or data retrieval from the Platform.
- You will not employ automated systems such as ‘robots’, ‘spiders’, ‘scrapers’, ‘offline readers’ or such similar automated tools to access the Platform.
- You shall not collect personally identifiable information, including account names, from the Platform or use it for commercial solicitation.
- You shall refrain from indulging in the following acts while accessing the Platform:
- Using the Platform for illegal or offensive purposes.
- Attempting to compromise system integrity or security.
- Overloading the infrastructure with excessive actions.
- Uploading malicious software or viruses.
- Impersonating others or engaging in fraudulent activities.
- Interfering with the Platform’s proper operation.
- Bypassing access restrictions.
- Attempting to reverse engineer or discover source code.
You shall not use the Platform to make a fraudulent application for any Partner Products or Partner Services listed on it or within any Partner Modules.
Termination
- We reserve the right to permanently or temporarily terminate, suspend, or deny access to the Platform without notice or liability for violations of the Terms or if the provision of Platform to you is no longer commercially viable or feasible for us. The Platform may delist you or block your future access to the Platform or suspend or terminate your account if it believes, in its sole and absolute discretion that you have infringed, breached, violated, abused, or unethically manipulated or exploited any term of these Terms or the Privacy Policy or in any way otherwise acted unethically. Notwithstanding anything in this clause, these Terms will survive indefinitely unless and until the Company chooses to terminate them. If you or the Platform terminates your use of the Platform, the Platform may delete any Content or other materials relating to you and the Platform shall have no liability to you or any third party for doing so. However, your transactions details may be preserved by the Platform for purposes of tax or regulatory compliance.
Access
- We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Platform or Platform Services without notice. We shall not be responsible for interruptions or cessation of the Platform and / or any of the Platform Services. We shall not be held responsible for non-availability of the Platform during periodic maintenance or any unplanned suspension of access to the Platform that may occur due to technical reasons or for any reason beyond the Platform’s control. We make no warranties regarding the access, speed, or availability of the internet in general or the Platform in particular. The Platform is controlled from India, and users from other jurisdictions must comply with Applicable laws in India.
- Your responsibilities for accessing the Platform include:
- Ensuring access to the Platform is appropriately arranged.
- Ensuring that all individuals accessing the Platform through your device are informed about and compliant with the Terms.
- Providing accurate, current, and complete information when prompted for registration or other details to access the Platform’s resources. Your usage of the Platform is subject to the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. This information is also governed by our Privacy Policy, and you consent to our actions regarding your information in line with the Privacy Policy.
- Acknowledging our right to disable any username, password, or identifier, whether chosen by you or provided by us, at our sole discretion, for any reason, including if, in our judgment, you have violated any provision of the Terms.
Ownership of Intellectual Property Rights
- We retain exclusive rights and ownership on the Platform’s Content (except user Content and third party owned Content), and the features and functionality of the Platform. You may not use, copy, or reproduce these materials without our prior written consent. All intellectual property rights are protected under the Applicable Laws.
- The Content on the Platform including but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, video and audio Content, financial data, news, research, recommendations, and opinions, is protected by copyright in favour of us under applicable copyright laws and is also safeguarded under general intellectual property law.
- Third-party Content appearing on the Platform is the property of their respective owners and we do not assert any rights in relation to the same. Such third-party Content or Partners’ Content is used by us either on the basis permission from such third-parties or Partners, or pursuant to fair use provisions.
- If you believe the Platform violates your intellectual property, you must promptly notify the Platform in writing at gayathri.karthik@jiofinance.in. These notifications should only be submitted by the owner of the intellectual property, or an agent authorized to act on his / her behalf. However, any false claim by you may result in the termination of your access to the Platform.
Warranty Disclaimer
- The Partner Modules and the Content on such Partner Modules are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of the Content displayed on the Partner Modules. We are not responsible for any errors, interruptions, or damages resulting from the access of the Partner Modules.
- The information provided are for general information purposes. We encourage that you seek advice from your advisors regarding any product you wish to apply for on or through the Platform or Partner Modules. Decisions based on the information contained within the Platform are your sole responsibility.
- We do not guarantee that:
- The Platform Services will meet your requirements.
- Products, services, information, or materials sourced or obtained through the Platform will meet your expectations.
- Results obtained from the Platform will be accurate or reliable.
- Products and services offered on or through the Platform are fit for a particular purpose.
- Subject to obligations under Applicable Laws and our Privacy Policy, we provide no guarantee against the possibility of data deletion, mis-delivery, or storage failure.
- We do not endorse or guarantee third-party products or services, Partner Products or Partner Services advertised on the Platform. We shall not be responsible for transactions between you and our third-party providers or Partners.
- Any identified defects will be corrected.
- With respect to the Content on the Platform, we do not guarantee or undertake data accuracy and completeness, satisfactory quality and / or fitness for a particular purpose.
Indemnity
- We shall not be liable in case you breach any terms or conditions provided under the Privacy Policy or these Terms and will not be obligated to indemnify you for any direct or indirect losses accruing to you. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless us, our Affiliates, group companies and our directors, officers, employees, agents, third party service providers, and any other third party providing any service to us in relation to the Platform Services whether directly or indirectly, from and against any and all losses, liabilities, claims, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees and disbursements in connection therewith and interest chargeable thereon) asserted against or incurred by us that arise out of, result from, or may be payable by virtue of, any breach or non-performance of any terms of the Terms including any representation, warranty, covenant or agreement made or obligation to be performed by you pursuant to the Terms.
Limitation of Liability
- In no event shall JFPSL, its officers, directors and employees, or its contractors, agents, licensors, partners, or suppliers be liable to you for any direct, special, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, reliance, or exemplary damages (including without limitation lost business opportunities, lost revenues, or loss of anticipated profits or any other pecuniary or non-pecuniary loss or damage of any nature whatsoever, including but not limited to abuse or breach of data), even if JFPSL or its partners have been advised of the possibility of such damages, arising out of or relating to (i) these terms, (ii) the platform, (iii) your use or inability to use the platform for the reasons mentioned in these terms; or (iv) any other interactions with another user in connection with the platform.
- Further, you shall be solely responsible for any investment made on or through the platform / partner modules. We shall not be held liable for any loss or damage caused to you or any other users of this platform due to such investments, or any kind of reliance upon it. We specifically and expressly disclaim the accuracy and correctness of the content available on the partner modules.
- You are therefore advised to obtain your own applicable legal, accounting, tax or other professional advice or facilities before taking or considering an investment or financial decision.
General Disclaimer
- We advise you to be cautious while receiving fraudulent and fictitious calls. As such, we cannot be held responsible for any loss suffered by a person while dealing with fake and fraudulent organisations impersonating themselves as JFPSL or our partners.
Lending Disclaimer
- JFPSL owns, operates and maintains a technology platform. We are not a lender. We have contractual relationships with lenders pursuant to which such lenders offer loan facilities to the users of the platform. Any loan facility made available to you by any lender shall be governed by terms and conditions agreed between you and the lender and we shall not be a party to the same. Loan shall be at the sole discretion of the lender.
- You are further advised not to get lured and be wary of any calls, SMS and emails asking for depositing any processing fees / charges in return for expediting loan approvals.
Banking Disclaimer
- JFPSL owns, operates and maintains a technology platform. We are not a payments bank. We have contractual relationship with our banking partner pursuant to which our banking partner offers banking and payments products and services to the users of the platform. Any such products or services made available to you by our banking partner shall be governed by terms and conditions agreed between you and our banking partner and we shall not be a party to the same. Offering of such products and services shall be at the sole discretion of our banking partner.
Insurance Disclaimer
- JFPSL owns, operates and maintains a technology platform. We are not an insurance broker. We have contractual relationship with our insurance partner pursuant to which our insurance partner offers insurance solicitation and related services to the users of the platform. Any such services made available to you by our insurance partner shall be governed by terms and conditions agreed between you and our insurance partner and we shall not be a party to the same. Offering of such products and services shall be at the sole discretion of our insurance partner.
Assignment / Novation
- You understand and acknowledge that JFPSL may assign / novate its rights and responsibilities under this Terms (including pursuant to any corporate restructuring or similar exercises). You confirm that you have no objection to such assignment / novation by JFPSL, and you agree that your obligations under this Terms would be binding on such third party. We assure you that irrespective of any change in the contracting party, your rights and our obligations under this Terms will remain unaffected/unchanged. You accordingly confirm that you have no objection to such assignment / novation by JFPSL. You also understand and agree that in case of an assignment / novation, your obligations under the Terms may be owed / transferred to such assignee / third party.
Force Majeure
- We shall not be liable for any failure to perform any of its obligations under the Terms or provide the Platform Services or any part thereof if the performance is prevented, hindered, or delayed by a Force Majeure Event and in such case its obligations shall be suspended for so long as the Force Majeure Event continues.
Governing Law
- The Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, regardless of your actual location. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
- Disputes under the Terms shall be resolved through arbitration governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Mumbai. The arbitration shall be conducted in English language. The arbitrator’s award shall be final, and costs for the arbitration shall be borne by the User.
Notices
- All legal notices or demands to or upon us shall be made in writing and sent by courier, certified mail, or electronic email to the following address: 1st Floor, Building 4NA, Maker Maxity, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai – 400 051, or email at: gayathri.karthik@jiofinance.in. The notices shall be effective when they are received by us in any of the above-mentioned manner.
- All legal notices or demands to or upon a User shall be effective if either delivered personally, sent by courier, certified mail, by email to the last-known correspondence address or email address provided by the User to us, or by posting such notice or demand on an area of the Platform that is publicly accessible without a charge. Notice to a User shall be deemed to be received by such User if and when, a) We are able to demonstrate that communication, whether in physical or electronic form, has been sent to such User, or b) immediately upon us posting such notice on an area of the Platform that is publicly accessible without charge.
Entire Agreement / Severability
- These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, legal disclaimers, and other legal notices on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
- If any provision is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, it will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which remain in full force.
Cookies
- We use cookies on our Platform for analysis, offering customised products and services, providing unique content, and enhancing user experience. The use and policies relating to such cookies shall be governed by our Privacy Policy.
Usage of Personal Information
- Your Personal Data provided to us through the Platform will only be collected, used, processed and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Breach of the Terms
- These Terms constitute a legally binding contract between you and JFPSL. Please read them carefully and ensure you understand and agree to the Terms before accessing the Platform. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at gayathri.karthik@jiofinance.in. Without prejudice to JFPSL’s other rights under these Terms, if you breach these Terms in any way or if JFPSL suspects that you have breached the Terms in any way, then JFPSL shall be entitled to take such action as it may deem necessary. You agree that any violation by you of these Terms will constitute an unlawful and unfair business practice and will cause irreparable harm to JFPSL and the Platform, for which monetary damages would be inadequate, and you consent to the JFPSL and Platform obtaining any injunctive or equitable relief that they deem necessary or appropriate in such circumstances. These remedies are in addition to any other remedies that JFPSL and the Platform may have at law or in equity. If JFPSL and the Platform takes any legal action against you as a result of your violation of these Terms, they will be entitled to recover from you, and you agree to pay, all reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs of such action, in addition to any other relief that may be granted.
Grievance Redressal Related to Services Provided by the Lending Partner on the Platform

Grievance Redressal Related to Banking Facilities Offered Through the Platform
- Bank account services. You understand and acknowledge that services of and in relation the bank account offered on the designated Partner Module(s) within the Platform are provided exclusively and independently by our Banking Partner, which is a licensed Payments Bank with the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”). All services and offerings thereof will be governed by the terms & conditions laid down by our Banking Partner. You may access the grievance redressal policy of our Banking Partner here.
The User may lodge any complaints / queries / issues / disputes or report frauds in relation to the banking facility facilitated through our Partner Module(s) by accessing our Banking Partner’s designated facility for the same.
Our Banking Partner shall endeavour to resolve any such complaints / queries / issues in accordance with their terms & conditions and applicable laws. - Wallet services. You understand and acknowledge that services of and in relation the wallet offered on the designated Partner Module(s) within the Platform are provided exclusively and independently by our Banking Partner, which is a PPI Issuer authorised by the RBI. All services and offerings thereof will be governed by the terms & conditions laid down by our Banking Partner. You may access the grievance redressal policy of our Banking Partner here.
The User may lodge any complaints / queries / issues / disputes or report frauds in relation to the wallet facility facilitated through our Partner Module(s) by accessing our Banking Partner’s designated facility for the same.
Our Banking Partner shall endeavour to resolve any such complaints / queries / issues in accordance with their terms & conditions and applicable laws. - UPI services. You understand and acknowledge that services of and in relation to unified payments interface (“UPI”) on the designated Partner Module(s) within the Platform are being offered and powered by the Banking Partner in the capacity of being a member PSP Bank having requisite arrangements with the National Payments Corporation of India ("NPCI”). All services and offerings thereof will be governed by the terms & conditions laid down by our Banking Partner. You may access the grievance redressal policy of our Banking Partner here.
The User may lodge any complaints / queries / issues / disputes or report frauds in relation to UPI transactions undertaken through the designated Partner Module on the Platform by accessing our Banking Partner’s designated facility for the same.
Our Banking Partner shall endeavour to resolve any such complaints / queries / issues in accordance with their terms & conditions and applicable laws. - Bill payment services. You understand and acknowledge that services of an in relation to bill payments on the designated Partner Module(s) within the Platform are being offered and powered by the Banking Partner in the capacity of being a Biller Operating Unit having requisite arrangements with the NPCI. All services and offerings thereof will be governed by the terms & conditions laid down by our Banking Partner. You may access the grievance redressal policy of our Banking Partner here.
The User may lodge any complaints / queries / issues / disputes or report frauds in relation to bill payment transactions undertaken through the designated Partner Module on the Platform by accessing our Banking Partner’s designated facility for the same.
Our Banking Partner shall endeavour to resolve any such complaints / queries / issues in accordance with their terms & conditions and applicable laws.
Grievance Redressal Related to Services Provided by JIBL on the Platform
- Insurance. You understand and acknowledge that services of and in relation the insurance offered on the designated Partner Module(s) within the Platform are provided exclusively and independently by JIBL. JIBL is a registered insurance broker with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India. JIBL enables You to solicit insurance policy through this Platform or its designated Partner Module.
All services and offerings thereof will be governed by the terms & conditions laid down by JIBL. You may access the grievance redressal policy of our JIBL here.
The User may lodge any complaints / queries / issues / disputes in relation to the insurance facilities facilitated through our Partner Module(s) by mailing to customer.care@jioinsure.in or writing to Jio Insurance Broking Ltd. 1st Floor, B Wing, Building 25, Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City (DAKC), MIDC, Kopar Khairane, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra - 400 710.
JIBL shall endeavour to resolve any such complaints / queries / issues in accordance with their terms & conditions and applicable laws. - Insurance advisory services (“Insurance Advisory”). The User may lodge any complaints / queries / issues / disputes in relation to Insurance Advisory facilitated through our Partner Module ‘My Money’ by mailing to care@jioinsure.in.

Prohibited Actions
- While visiting or using our Platform or the Partner Modules, you agree not to, by any means (including hacking, cracking or defacing any portion of the Platform) indulge in illegal or unauthorised activities including the following:
- Restrict or inhibit any authorised user from using our Platform or the Partner Modules.
- Use the Platform or the Partner Modules for unlawful purposes.
- Harvest or collect information about you without your express consent.
- “Frame” or “mirror” any part of the Platform or the Partner Modules without our prior authorisation.
- Engage in spamming or flooding.
- Transmit any software or other materials that contain any virus, time bomb, or other harmful or disruptive component.
- Remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained in the Platform or the Partner Modules.
- Use any device, application or process to retrieve, index, “data mine” or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Platform or the Partner Modules.
- Permit or help anyone without access to the Platform to use the Platform through your username and password or otherwise.
- Infringe, or violate or misappropriate any patent, trademark, copyright or any other proprietary rights.
